The City that Helps 2009

Every day that we live being healthy with happiness around us is a miracle. Life is so complicated and fragile that we should be eternally grateful for every moment spent on this planet in the company of our family, friends, pets, and everything that we love. We try hard to keep this treasure and we are fortunate to be succeeding in our quest for happiness.

Yet, there are the many unfortunate ones that need our help. The next few pages tell the story of bravery and hope, humility and compassion, commitment and success. The third annual The City that Helps guide to nonprofit organizations in Stamford and Fairfield County features ten fine organizations that work tirelessly to enhance our community by providing services to the ones in need. Read their heartfelt stories and you will uncover an often forgotten side of humanity that makes human kind so beautiful and worth cherishing!

Please consider supporting at least one of these organizations – a little goes a long way!

With love,
